You asked about Ashoka's sabres being two different lengths. Jedi are patterned after Samurai and when they fight with two swords it's usually a Katana (long sword) and a Wakizashi (short sword). The long sword is typically used for striking while the short sword is intended for parrying.

I still cry every time I play the campaign. Always starts at the end of the defense of kyshyyk. This one is good, but the original journal with all the scenes from the game is better. Adds more to the emotional impact. And no matter which version of starwars you like, the clones always knew on some level their original purpose. In canon, when Fives and Tup are dying, they talk about the nightmare being over, they're talking about order 66, and being thankful they don't have to carry it out.

Its actually called the Duel of the Fates because the outcome of this duel will determine who trains Anakin (Darth Vader) Skywalker. If Qui-Gon had not died he would have have most certainly trained Anakin as the father figure Anakin needed and he wouldn't have turned to the dark side. But due to the outcome Obi-Wan is made a Knight and takes Anakin as his pupil and is more of a brother to Anakin than a father.

So this lightsaber duel was the fate of Anakin Skywalker's future. Obi-Wan was a good master but he was more like a brother to Anakin master Qui Gonn was the Father figure Anakin needed to stay away from the Dark side

They made a lot of mistakes in this sequel but Adam Driver wasn’t one of them❤

Xelle, I absolutely LOVE your reactions to Rebels. This show REALLY captured the essence of the OT with it's sound effects and music (you mentioned you hadn't yet seen the OT films when you began this series). I was 13 when Star Wars came out; now I'm an old man, married with 2 adult kids (no grandkids yet, DRATS!) who I immersed in Star Wars as they grew up. Though other reactors may be more knowledgeable of the OT and Star Wars lore, your enjoyment of this show is infectious and fun to watch.

The scene with the Poe speech about not letting die what the fathers and mothers fought for ! So striking ! I have my issues with this movie but just like the two previous ones, the highs of this movie are really heartfelt.
